Biosketch  

Elisabetta Iengo obtained her PhD in Chemistry at the University of Trieste (IT) in 2002. She was post-doctoral fellow at the University Louis Pasteur, Strasbourg, France in 2003; post-doctoral fellow at the University of Trieste during 2004-2006, and MarieCurie post-doctoral fellow at the University of Cambridge, UK in 2006-2008. She came back to the University of Trieste with a European Reintegration Grant, as Assistant Professor, in 2008. From 2014 she is Associate Professor in Inorganic Chemistry at the Department of Chemical and Pharmaceutical Sciences of the University of Trieste. She is author of 75 publications and 2 patents.

Her research interests are in the field of supramolecular discrete systems containing (metallo)porphyrin and coordination compounds, with main focus on the preparation and characterization of simple artificial photosynthetic models and 3D multi-component assemblies.
